Pink Gin CocktailTo Give You Spring Feels

Hello lovely readers!

It's been a while. But I'm back with this delicious recipe for a quick and easy cocktail to give you those spring feels in no time. Perfect for sunny Sundays in the garden where you want to embrace the fine weather we're currently experiencing; make the most of the spring air while it lasts!

When I say this cocktail is quick and easy to make, I really mean it... you don't need to do any shaking, there's no fancy ingredients, and it takes approximately one minute before it's ready to go.

  • Ice
  • Frozen blueberries
  • Gin
  • Edlerflower cordial
  • Lemonade (I chose diet but it honestly doesn't matter unless you're watching the calories)

Firstly, take a mason jar or your cocktail glass of choice, and chuck a couple of ice cubes in, along with a small handful of frozen blueberries (it's important to put the blueberries in before any liquids if you want the cocktail to be pink).

Then, add two shots of your favourite gin, a shot of elderflower cordial, and then fill with lemonade.

Using a straw, gently mix the ingredients in and you will see it starts to go pink! And voila, it's ready to go.

The elderflower cordial gives it a really fresh spring taste, and the blueberries make it pink, perfect for this time of year - it looks and tastes really yummy, and just makes me feel like spring is in the air! If you want to add some extra pizazz, a sprig of thyme in the top will give it a really fresh scent and a bit more of a posh touch!

Now all that's left to do is get a good book, some sunglasses, and a comfy chair/blanket  to chill out on in the garden or park. And obviously if you're lucky enough to have a furry friend, be sure to take them with you too!

Bye for now,

Sarah xx
