REVIEW: St Moriz Advanced Pro Formula 5 in 1 Tanning Mousse Medium

Hello you lovely people :)

Let me just start by saying the St Tropez Advanced Pro Formula 5 in 1 Tanning Mousse is hands down the most amazing smelling fake tan I've ever tried! I get really put off fake tan thanks to that horrendous lingering smell with most brands. However this one apparently has some incredible 'fragrance technology' - and let me tell you it really is incredible! I can't even pinpoint the smell, but it just makes me feel like I'm on some sunny beach somewhere really hot!

In terms of the quality of the product, this is also really good - I use my St Tropez tanning mitt to apply it, and it applies extremely smoothly (I always make sure I am shaved, exfoliated and moisturised before applying), dries quickly and doesn't transfer. I have also double baked in this and it came out a really dark beautiful colour, and still managed to look natural.

The only downside to this fake tan is that when it fades it can look a bit patchy, like all other fake tan I've ever tried, but it lasts the longest out of any I've ever tried either - I can easily get 4-5 days out of it before I start looking patchy. And I remedy this simply by exfoliating it off and starting again :) if you're interested, my current favourite body scrub is The Body Shop Pinita Colada Body Scrub.

I use the shade Medium, which comes out really nicely on me. Considering I am extremely fair skinned, I thought that this fake tan would look horrendous on me and too dark, but it blends so nicely that it looks really natural. It's not too orange, which is obviously a good thing when it comes to fake tan! However it is not ashy either, so although it doesn't look muddy, because it is fairly warm toned it can lean towards orange in certain lights, but personally I think it looks really natural. It also matches my Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation in the shade Santa Fe perfectly so when I have a full face of makeup on it still makes my body look really naturally tanned!

I rate this product really highly and couldn't recommend it more - I got mine from Boots for £5.99, which is incredible considering the quality of the product. I certainly will be purchasing it again - I can't think of a fake tan I've tried for the same price that is as good or better than this - I am blown away by the quality of the product. I would say this product would be really good for a beginner of fake tan as well, purely because of how easy it is to apply and how nicely it blends! It's easy to apply this streak free!

So concludes my review of the St Moriz Advanced Pro Formula 5 in 1 Tanning Mousse in the shade Medium; I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know what you think about this Tanning Mousse in the comments below.

  1. I've never tried ST Moriz tanning products but this sounds amazing! I get really put off fake tanning because just one bottle costs like £20 so I want to savour it as long as I can!

    Great Post girly!
